Club Championship 2017 Aggregates Updated as @ March

Following last weekends club championship round the aggregates have been updated CLICK HERE. Mark Smith leads the expert aggregates, Micheal Hollyer the intermediate, Pete Southcott the novice, Rodger Beck the over 40, with Oliver Whorlow the youth aggregates. The next club championship event is in April on the

EKTC 12th March RESULTS LINK – Folkestone MCC

Sunday saw a brilliant East Kent Combine Trial run by our friends at the Folkestone club at Harbledown,  a good mix of manufactured man made sections with logs and rocks and a collection of stream and camber sections. The trial was rewarded with good weather and a decent entry of over 50 riders. A link to the results HERE on the Folkestone site. Well done to the Folkestone Team who had clearly put in a lot of effort in setting out the trial.

Over the next few weeks there are several East Kent trials taking place including our own Weald Non Expert Trial on the 16th of April. Entries available via Sporting Motorcyclist or online for those linked below.

2017 Club Horse Race & Presentation Eve

Over 150 people attended the 2017 club horse race and presentation evening last night at Bethersden Village Hall in what was once again a fun night for all ages who attended.

The club aggregate awards and 2016 trial winners trophies were presented by the clubs President Roy Francis, along with 18 youth trophies from the successful youth series that was run last year (2017 youth dates in article below)

A huge thankyou to the sponsors who kindly supplied prizes for the evening and those who supplied prizes for the raffle which included Inta Motorcycles, Freestyle, Acklams Beta, Splatshop, Inch Perfect Trials, Malcolm Rathmell Sport (MRS), Oset Bikes, CIS Sport, Chapel Down vineyards, Trial Mag, Putoline, Gas Gas UK, Beta UK, Vertigo Motors  and many of the committee and club members. 

Thank you for supporting the club and we look forward to another great year in 2017.

12th Feb – GEST East Kent Trials Combine – CANCELLED


This Sunday sees the GEST club run the February East Kent Combine trial, this has not been advertised in this month’s Sporting Motorcyclist Magazine due to an admin oversight but is still on.

The trial will take place on Sunday with a start time at 10.30am at the usual piece of land located adjacent to the A28 at Northiam, it will be signposted and you can’t miss it. The venue is an excellent piece of ground and there will be 4 routes as usual including a beginner route for all our newer riders.

Naturally entries will be taken on the day and all entries will count towards the aggregates and club championship

Walker Memorial Trial Start List – 5th Feb 10am -Sittingbourne MCC

85 riders entered for this Sundays South East Centre Walker Memorial Trial run by our friends at Sittingbourne MCC. Start is at Wrinstead Court Farm, Ringlestone Rd, Nr Doddington, Post Code ME9 0EA. Signposted from Doddington Village and the top of Hollingbourne Hill. Late entries available on the day. The trial will consist of 3 laps of 14 sections.

Sidcup 60 Trial 2017 Results and Pictures

Results and pictures available on the Sidcup MCC Website from the Freestyle Sidcup 60 Trial, well done to the Tenterden lads who took part.

If you fancy a ride over the next few weeks, some great trials to enter, it is the Dunlop Trial this weekend  (22nd Jan) run by our friends at the Ashford Club, late entries are available and the 5th Feb sees the Walker Trial run by our friends from Sittingbourne, official entries are still open, both are usually up there with the best trials in the year for this area. The week after, the 12th of Feb sees our East Kent Counterparts GEST run the next round of the EKTC combine trials and the next round of our own club championship.

Club Horse Racing and Presentation Evening – Saturday the 18th Feb

The annual race night combined with the presentation for this year’s awards has now been set for Saturday 18th February at the usual location of the Bethersden Village Hall.  The theme will once again be big screen horse racing for all to enjoy.

Tickets are now available. As many of you know this is a evening full of family fun for all ages and prizes that also helps us raise the necessary funds to allow the club to continue to operate successfully.

Tickets will cost £10 per adult and £5 per child under 16 and a fish and chip or sausage and chip supper will be provided (you bring your own drink).
