Tenterden Youth Trial

Following last weekends inaugural youth trial last weekend the next youth trial will be held on Saturday 2nd July. The venue will be Checksfield Farm, Preston Lane, off the Appledore Road, Tenterden, Kent TN30 7 DN

Start time will be 1.00pm and we are planning 4 laps of 5 sections with 2 routes, easy beginner and harder beginner routes.

Tenterden Youth Trial 11th June 2016

On Saturday 11th June our club ran its first Youth trial which catered for the increasing number of new Youth riders within the area. The event, hosted by Mike Nutbrown, was ran at the Rakins ground the day before the EKTC trial. Well done to all those that took part and for finishing the trial and a huge thank you to  Mike who also very kindly donated some trophies on the day for the winners.  This is the first trial of a mini series we are running, anyone that is interested please contact the club through this website and further contact details for Mike will be provided. The next event will be in early July, more details to follow :-

Youth/Beginner Trial Update 11th June

Update on Youth Trials and Beginner. The first round will be held on Saturday 11th June. The venue for the first round has changed to Rakins, Gills Green, off slip mill lane, Hawkhurst, Kent.

Start time will be 1.00pm and we are planning 4 laps of 5 sections with 2 routes.

In order to run this event we need at least 5 entries for each event. Please contact Mike Nutbrown on Michael.nutbrown@sky.com for more details and to give feedback on the event.

MAY 8th – EKTC TRIAL

Next month’s EKTC trial, hosted by Ashford Club, has not been published in this month’s Magazine. The trial is still going ahead and this was just an oversight on their part.

The trial will be held at the Elmstead Ground Nr Hastingleigh on Sunday 8th May, permit number ACU47324

The usual 4 routes will be set out which will include a beginner route.

WEALD NON EXPERT TRIAL CANCELLED 17.04.16

Unfortunately due to the carparking area and entrance to the site being flooded we have cancelled tomorrows trial being held at the Clay Hill site in Tenterden.

All cheques will be either returned or destroyed.

Tenterden MCC Youth Trials Championship

For 2016 Tenterden MCC will be running a series of youth trials at Checksfield Farm, Tenterden. The events will be held on Saturday afternoons and consist of 4 laps of 5 sections aimed at youth beginners and novices. Trophies for the best riders in each class will be presented at the annual award night in early 2017.

The beginner route will be suitable for new members and will be a great introduction to trials which will develop skills and confidence to move onto Combine trials.

The novice route will be pitched between the Combine yellow and red route for the more experienced rider.

Proposed dates for the events are:-

June 11th Start time 13.00

July 9th Start time 13.00

September 10th Start time 13.00
